School attendance is a critical
factor to a productive and successful school career. All schools in St.
James-Assiniboia actively promote and encourage 100 per cent
attendance for all our students. We encourage parents/caregivers to be actively involved in promoting their child’s attendance at school.
What if my child will be absent from school?
If
your child will be absent from school, we request that parents report
their child's absence using the School Messenger system. Using School
Messenger, absences can be reported using the SchoolMessenger app on
your mobile device (iOS or Android), on the web, or by calling the
toll-free interactive telephone system at
1-844-434-8116.
Click here for more information about getting yourself set up to use the School Messenger system.

Call-Back Service

any absent students for whom the school has not received a School
Messenger notice indicating their child will be absent. Of course, we'd
prefer to keep call backs to a minimum and would greatly
appreciate it if parents report all absences using School Messenger
