For Socktober, we are collecting brand-new, un-opened, adult or kid sized pairs of socks to donate to our unsheltered relatives living on the streets of Winnipeg. We are also accepting mittens as a part of this initiative to support our homeless. This small act of love can make a difference in the lives of our neighbours. Friday, October 27th will be Fun Sock Day at Golden Gate and the day of collection for any wrapped new socks or mittens to be brought to school.
