Students from early years mark International Dot Day, a global celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration. The day started in 2009 when a teacher introduced his classroom to The Dot, a book by Peter H. Reynolds that tells the story of a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark." Every school that takes part receives a prize.

Instructions: To obtain a school prize, teachers must submit samples of student artwork by 4:30 p.m. on September 29, 2023 to Catharine Rivard-Iacozza at the Professional Staff Development Centre, 150 Moray Street.
