Welcome to the Bruce Middle School website! We're proud to be situated on Treaty One land, the traditional territories of the Anishinaabeg, the Ininewak, the Dakota Oyate peoples, and the national homeland of the Red River Métis. As a small but vibrant school, we're enriched by the diversity of our community.

At Bruce Middle School, our staff and students share a proud legacy of academic, athletic, and artistic achievements. Our students are strong participants in the SJASD middle years athletics programming, where they develop teamwork and citizenship skills. Our dedicated team also offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, actively seeking student input to explore their interests and help them discover and nurture their unique gifts and talents.

We believe in the growth that comes from learning through mistakes and in the power of relationships to create a community where every child feels safe, cared for, and engaged in their education. Our students receive support in their personal development as they navigate the challenges of adolescence and the complexities of today's changing world. Our staff is committed to fostering an inclusive environment and collaborates with students, families, divisional support personnel, and community agencies to meet the individual needs of each student.

This year brings some exciting changes to our staff, including myself. It has been a joy to witness the enthusiasm and collaboration of this dedicated team of educators and to connect with students and families during my start here this year.
