Hello Bruce Families!
We hope you are doing well and enjoying the warmer (though currently wetter) weather.
Our spring musical “Willy Wonka Jr.” has a few tickets left for Wednesday and Friday’s 7pm performances, though they are going fast. Tickets are available in the office $10 each.
Today we held a general meeting for anyone interested in participating in Track and Field events and was glad to see close to 90 students attending. If your child loves to run, jump or throw please encourage them to attend practices. A schedule of practice times was sent with all students. The divisional track meet will be held Monday June 3rd at the University of Manitoba track.
Grade 8 News – Tickets for the Farewell Dance on June 25th will soon be available for purchase at $20 each. Tickets can be purchased over the lunch hour from the table in the front foyer starting next week.
Chocolate bars are available from the office for $3 each and come in a variety of flavours. Proceeds go towards fundraising for the grade 8 Farewell.
We have a new School Resource Officer – Constable Lisa Allison. If you see her car out front or meet her within the school, please say hi and welcome her to our community. Constable Brad has completed his contract with the division and we wish him well.
