A Grade 8 Farewell Celebration on June 24th is being put on by a PARENT COMMITTEE ….this is NOT  affiliated with the school in any way.

A Parent group is planning a fun event for Gr 8 students to celebrate the end of middle school.  Tickets will be available for purchase in the near future at a cost of $10 per student.  Please note that this event is only open to Bruce students (no dates, etc.).  Each ticket will be recorded, and parents will need to personally drop off AND sign their children in AND out.  The celebration will take place at HVCC Community Club, on Monday, June 24th from 7-11pm.  Pizza will be provided, there will be a DJ and Photographer on site, (all pictures will be available to families online after the event).  The rest is still being planned.

In order to make this event a success, we will need some volunteers and donations.  We keep things fairly simple, but as for donations, like bottled water, canned drinks, chips, desserts etc.  We will be looking for decorations donations as well, or cash can also be given.

Volunteers are needed for decorating the night before (kids are welcome to help), as well chaperones will be needed at the event.
