Hello Bruce Families,

I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend! There are only 6 weeks left before the summer break, even though it seems like summer is here early. If your family will be starting your summer break plans before June 30th, please make sure to communicate your dates with the school so that we can plan accordingly and, more importantly, don’t bother you with daily absence calls.

I am sure you have heard by now of the tragic fire at 240 Quail Ridge Road. One of our families has lost their home along with close to 180 people, many who have lost everything. We are collecting ladies clothing size large, ladies shoes size 8 and 9, undergarments, men’s large shirts, size 10 shoes, size 30 pants, medium undergarments, pajamas. Donations can be dropped off at the school.

This Thursday is our final Band and Choir Concert for the year. Please have your child at the school for 6:30 for final preparations. All parents, friends and family are invited!

Friday is the field trip for grade 7 classes to Fort Whyte. The weather forecast is for hot and sunny so please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather with a water bottle and sunscreen.
