We hope you have had a great summer and that your children are ready to go back to school. School officially begins for students on September 8, though we look forward to meeting parents and students at your selected conference times.
Here are some reminders or notices of upcoming events:
- Conference manager is open to book your opening day conference with your child’s homeroom teacher. We want to build a strong link between school and home and provide you with the information needed to help your child succeed. Vital information will be provided, lockers will be assigned, calendars provided, we will review student schedules and of course answer any questions you may have. - Please note that the sidewalk in front of the school is not a driveway and vehicle traffic should refrain from using the area for stopping except under exceptional circumstances. The area on Booth in front of the school is a no stopping zone. Please do not stop in this area for long periods of time as it presents a safety hazard to both pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
Students can be dropped off in the bus loop on the east side of the school, or on Meadowlark Place, on the west side of the school.

- September 5 – in-service day no school
- September 6 – Triad conferences 12-6pm
- September 7 – Triad conferences 8-2 pm
- September 8 – First Day of Classes
- September 19 – Early dismissal
- September 28 – Meet the Teacher Picnic (4:30-6:30pm)
- September 28 – Parent Council AGM (6:30-7:30pm)
- October 4 – Picture day
