Hello Bruce Families!
Spirit Week is here! Each day has a simple theme to follow:
Monday – Wacky Hat Day, wear your wildest or most special headwear
Tuesday – Hallowe'en, wear a costume (please no weapons) activities in the afternoon
Wednesday – Pyjama Day!
Thursday – Day of Socks, wear your best pair and donate a pair for those in need
Friday – Wear Bruce colours (purple, black, silver and white)
At the end of the week, we will host our first awards celebration where we will recognize outstanding Bears from each home room and for fall sports. Following the awards, we will have our first BLAST activity, which is just a collection of fun and competitive activities.
This Wednesday we will be having a special presentation from Andy McKiel, a coordinator with the division who will discuss the possibilities, responsibilities and dangers that come with using social media.
Thank you to everyone who donated socks for the Socktober initiative. We have enough to fill three boxes!
Triad conferences to meet the teachers and discuss student progress will be taking place on November 16th and the conference manager to book appointments will open on Thursday.
