Hello Grade 8 Families!

Our Grade 8s will be heading to Sturgeon tomorrow as they have rescheduled their student expo. This is an opportunity for students to get a good look at some of the various course offerings and opportunities at the high school level.

Students MUST have a lunch with them tomorrow as we will be boarding the bus at 12:45pm. Students will have lunch early (period 5).

As a reminder, students will be receiving their high school registration forms this Friday. In the mean time, Sturgeon has also posted a registration orientation video on their website that will be helpful for you to look at as a family, to help understand the course selection process.

To help support our grade 8s transition to high school and work through the registration process, we will be hosting a one-hour high school registration info session on Tuesday, Feb. 13th at 6:30pm at Bruce. We invite ALL our grade 8 families and students out to this info session so that we can help support and field any questions and clarifications in the registration form and course selections that apply to ALL high school registration processes. 

All high school registrations forms are due back to us at Bruce on/before Friday, Feb. 23.
