​Congratulations to Alec H, Choral Student of the Month! Alec is currently in Grade 11 here at Westwood. He is a highly valued member of the Westwood Concert Choir and has recently joined the Vocal Jazz ensemble, State of Mind. Alec has also been a member of the St. James-Assiniboia Divisional Choirs since he was in Grade 5. He is a dedicated and committed student with both creative and technical vocal skills. In December, Alec had a lead role as Aaron in the musical, Mean Girls. Alec is a strong presence in the bass section of  the Concert Choir and Vocal Jazz, and his musical ability is an asset to his classmates. He influences other singers in the choir with his infectious energy and positive attitude. 

Alec, thanks for your focus and hard work and for being a shining example for all other choral students!
