School attendance is a critical factor to a productive and successful school career. All schools in St. James-Assiniboia actively promote and encourage 100 per cent attendance for all our students. We encourage parents/caregivers to be actively involved in promoting their child’s attendance at school.
What if my child will be absent from school?

What if my child will be arriving late for school?
Again, parents can report that their child will be arriving late for school using the School Messenger system.
Shortly after 9:00 am and 1:00 pm every day, the school will contact parents of any absent students for whom the school has not received a School Messenger notice indicating their child will be absent. Of course, we'd prefer to keep call backs to a minimum and would greatly appreciate it if parents report all absences using School Messenger
