Bonjour Families,

We are so happy to be back in the swing of things! Classes are well into their routines and learning. Things around the school seem to be flowing as best as they can be considering the amount of construction work around us. First, thank you all for your cooperation in keeping our children safe. We have had a smooth transition. Please note the following house-keeping items to help keep things running smoothly:

1. The play structure is now officially open. We (school and daycare) have a play structure schedule so the kids know whose turn it is. This schedule includes before school and all recesses.
1. Day 1 is Grade 1
2. Day 2 is Grade 2
3. Day 3 is Grade 3
4. Day 4 is Grade 4
5. Day 5 is Grade 5
6. Day 6 is Kindergarten
    
2. Please note that supervision begins at 8:15 in the morning. Even though you may see adults outside, those adults are daycare supervisors and they do not supervise school children who don't attend the daycare. If you wish to come early, please stay and supervise your child until 8:15 when our school supervision begins.
   
   
3. Welcome to Mme Kiernicki, our new part-time administrative assistant, and to Mme Diene, our new educational assistant working in all classrooms.
   
   
4. Recesses are outdoor! Rain or shine or cold. Please dress your children appropriately for the weather.
   
   
5. Early dismissals are at 2:45 pm the first and third Tuesday of every month. Please make sure you have arrangements for your child.
   
   
6. We look forward to our school BBQ hosted by parent council on September 26th. We also hope to see you at the Parent Council Annual General Meeting on October 9^th at 6 pm. We need parents to come out to these events so that we can have Parent Council involvement in the school! Thanks in advance for your participation.
