βCONVOCATION

Graduation Convocation will take place βon Wednesday June 24, 2026 at 9:30AM
Location: Club Regent Event Centre (1425 Regent Ave W)
There is no cost for Convocation Guest Tickets - grads do not need a ticket
GRAD DINNER & DANCEβ
Grad Dinner & Dance will take place on Thursday June 25, 2026
Location: Victoria Inn- 1808 Wellington Ave
Table Reservation dates: TBD
Β· Table selection is going to be done TBD
Β· Tickets must be purchased through School Cash Online before students make their table selection.
Β· The Table Reservation Form must also be completed online before students can choose their table. This form includes information about meal selection and allergies, as well as number of seats needed. Table Reservation Form is not currently available.
Β· Tables can hold a maximum of 11 people, but there is no limit on the number of guests
Β· Students wanting to sit with other students must come together to choose their tableβ
Ticket Sales for Dinner Reception β TBD
Β· Tickets are $ TBD (typically around $85) per person, non-refundable (graduate must also purchase a ticket)
Β· Tickets must be purchased through School Cash Online

GOWNS FOR GRADS

Gowns for Grads is a volunteer-run organization. Gowns for Grads collects donations of formal gowns, evening bags, & jewelry which are re-distributed to Manitoba High School Diploma graduates, or Mature Student Diploma graduates, who are facing financial challenges. Every student deserves to enjoy their grad day.
Please reach out to Mrs. Peters, Mrs. Goetz, or Mrs. Mymryk BEFORE MARCH 2026 if you are interested in this service.

This is the parent-organized and supervised celebration held immediately after the Graduation Dinner. Students must attend the Graduation Dinner in order to

GRAD PHOTOS

There is NO fee for students to have their graduation photo taken for our composite that will hang proudly in the JTC halls for years to come. If you wish to have a formal sit down, with multiple poses with the potential to order your own personal grad photos- there will be a sitting fee (estimated $30-$35). More information to come.

Schedule Your Photo Appointment: Book online for your designated school dates. Simply search by your schools Postal Code: R2Y 0H4, enter your schools name, and enter your name as it appears in the schoolβs records. If your name doesnβt appear, please contact Customer Service at 1-888-676-1647 for assistance.
Location: Photos will be taken in the Theatre
Arrival Time: Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
Contemporary Poses:
You can include contemporary poses, which are casual shots of the graduate only.

Each May SJASD holds a Divisional Grad Pow Wow. Students who are self-declared will automatically be sent an invitation in the Spring.
We encourage our Indigenous & Metis families to fill out their self-declaration forms as many opportunities, scholarships & experiences will come up over the year.

GRAD WALK

Grads have an opportunity to walk the halls of their old Elementary & Middle Schools. Sign up information will come out end of May.
Fun Idea for Thought.... Bring along a photo of you from elementary and/or middle school. Might be a fun side-by-side photo opportunity while taking pictures with your old teachers!β

If you have self-identified as Indigenous on your school registrations, our Indigenous Grad Coach Cherie Stroppa (cherie.stroppa@sjasd.caβ) is available to help your student navigate their final year with confidence, purpose & pride.
