Sports
Ultimate tryouts are coming up! Varsity tryouts will continue from 7:10am to 8:20am in the Gym! Junior Varsity tryouts will continue Thursday at 7pm to 830pm in the Gym! Please scan the QR code that is on the tryouts all around the school or come see Mr. Lintott in 2B1 if you are interested in trying out. All skill levels are welcome, newcomers included!
Any students interested in joining the Huskies Madness March Madness Basketball pool, go to Mr.Hutsal's room, 2B3, and scan the QR code on the poster to join. Deadline to join is Thursday morning. There are prizes for the winners!
Hairstyling students are raising money for Make a Wish foundation until Friday! Come by any period and get your hair styled for $5.
Attention Musical Theatre Students & Performing Arts Students
Rainbow stage is hosting a Spring Conference, all day Thursday May 22nd. This conference offers backstage and onstage related classes to students. During the day you will participate in 4 different sessions lead by industry professionals. This is a great opportunity for students who are wanting to develop skills and learn more about the industry. There will be a short meeting Tuesday at lunch in the Dance Studio for more information. See Ms Kerr for any further questions.
Winnipeg Jets Women in Sports Scholarship
The deadline to apply for the Winnipeg Jets' $5000 Women in Sports scholarship is March 31st. The scholarship is for a female-identifying student who is pursuing post-secondary education and has made a difference, both in sport and in her community. Students can self-nominate themselves or nominate a friend, teammate or family member. Staff can also nominate students. For more information, please see Mme Vermesse.

Tous les élèves intéressés à rejoindre le pool de basketball March Madness des Huskies Madness, rendez-vous dans la salle de M. Hutsal, 2B3, et scannez le code QR sur l'affiche pour vous inscrire. La date limite pour s'inscrire est jeudi matin. Il y a des prix pour les gagnants !
Bourse Winnipeg Jets Femmes dans le Sport
La date limite pour postuler à la bourse de 5000 $ de Winnipeg Jets des Femmes dans le Sport est le 31 mars. La bourse est destinée à une élève s'identifiant comme femme, poursuivant des études postsecondaires et ayant fait une différence, tant dans le sport que dans sa communauté. Les élèves peuvent se nominer elles-mêmes ou nominer une amie, une coéquipière ou un membre de leur famille. Le personnel peut également nominer des élèves. Attention aux élèves en théâtre musical et en arts du spectacle
Rainbow Stage organise une conférence de printemps, toute la journée du jeudi 22 mai. Cette conférence propose aux élèves des cours liés aux coulisses et à la scène. Au cours de la journée, vous participerez à 4 sessions différentes animées par des professionnels du secteur. C'est une excellente opportunité pour les élèves qui souhaitent développer leurs compétences et en apprendre davantage sur l'industrie. Il y aura une courte réunion mardi à midi dans le studio de danse pour plus d'informations. Voyez Mme Kerr pour toute question supplémentaire.
