January will be Terry Fox month at Sturgeon Heights.  Students can pick up pledge forms in the office to start collecting donations.  Ask you friends, family, and neighbors to donate to the Terry Fox Foundation.  The student who collects the most in donations will win a food/treat prize package worth over 150 dollars!  There will also be an exhibit called “A Journey with Terry” around the school.  This exhibit follows Terry Fox during the Marathon of Hope and the different stops he makes while using excerpts from his journal entries.  The journey with Terry exhibit will take you around the school, the exhibit starts in the front foyer.  Take some time to read and follow in Terry’s footsteps.  All are encouraged to participate and collect donations!!  Donations can be turned in to the office at the end of January.
