Important Information 2023 - 2024
As we look toward the beginning of another great school year, we would like to share some September 2023 back to school information.
The Collège Sturgeon Heights Collegiate office reopens on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
Timetable Pickup
Once timetables have been completed, students may view them in PowerSchool (ps.sjsd.net). Students will not need to pick up their timetable in person.
Timetable Changes
September 5th - Update - If you have previously made a timetable change but have not heard back yet, please do not submit another one. Our Guidance Department and Admin's will be in contact with you. If you or your student has not heard back by September 6th, they are to attend their scheduled classes until you or they are contacted.
Considerable effort goes into balancing classes and ensuring we have sufficient space to accommodate new students who will register at our school in the fall. We will not permit students to make timetable changes to be with friends or with a particular teacher. Changes may be considered for students with subject failures, pre-requisite course needs, or program changes.

Wednesday, August 30 - Grade 12's
Thursday, August 31 and Friday, September 1 - All Grades.
Fee Payments:
Collège Sturgeon Heights Collegiate uses School Cash Online for fee payments.
You can access the School Cash Online payment program Tuesday, August 22 to pay student fees. There is no service charge for the use of the School Cash Online program. Student fees must be paid, and outstanding library materials returned before timetable changes will be considered.

Step 1: Visit https://sjsd.schoolcashonline.com
Step 2: Register by selecting “Get Started Now" and follow the steps.
Step 3: After you receive a confirmation email, select the “Click Here" option, login and add each of your students to the household account.
If you have any questions during the registration process or while online, use the GET HELP option in the top right area of the screen.
Graduating Students:
- Student fees with yearbook are $95.00. This includes $35.00 for Cap and Gown and a Convocation photo and $27.00 for a yearbook.
- Student fees without yearbook are $68.00. This includes $35.00 for Cap and Gown and a Convocation photo.
Grades 9-11:
- Student fees with yearbook are $60.00. This includes $27.00 for a yearbook.
- Student fees without yearbook are $33.00.
Yearbooks must be purchased at the time of registration and cannot be ordered later.
Parking Passes:
Passes may be purchased for $40.00. A valid driver's license must be presented at the time of application.
School Supplies:
Typically, students require one or two binders, loose-leaf, pencils and pens. In some courses, specialized supplies may be required. This will be communicated by the teacher on the first day of class.
Cell phones:
Cell phone use will not be permitted in class. Students are expected to put their cell phones in the designated spot upon entering the classroom or store it in their locker. Call phones are only permitted during transition periods and over the lunch hour.
