It is that time of year again, back to school and the start of FOOTBALL Season. JT football training camp will be starting this upcoming Monday August 22nd at 4 pm on the field behind John Taylor Collegiate. Any and all students who are interested in playing football this year for the Pipers are encouraged to come out!
Important Information: - Practices will be held Monday-Friday from 4:30 pm -6:30 pm at John Taylor.
- In order to participate in full padded practices players MUST be registered with Football Manitoba. The fee is $40 (unless you have already registered for another league). This is very important for insurance purposes. For those athletes just trying out the sport this registration is not needed for the first few practices, just remember you will not be allowed in any padded drills, scrimmages or exhibition games until this is completed.

- If you already have an account you will sign in and register the athlete under WHSFL, if you have never created an account do this first and then register them under the WHSFL
- Permission Forms. CLICK HERE for the school permission form for participating on the football team this year. This also must be signed and returned to the school or coaches in order to participate in full padded and contact practices. There will also be hard copies that the students can get from coaches.
- Concussion Protocol and Awareness Form. CLICK HERE & please read over this with your child, this will also need to signed and retuned before the athlete can participate in full contact. Hard copies available from coaches as well.
- Parent Meeting, will be held after practice on Wednesday August 24th at 6:45 pm behind the school , if weather is bad the meeting will be in Gym C. Topics to be discussed are fundraising, equipment, transportation, league fees etc.

Friday August 26th – Joint Practice at Vincent Massey bus leaves JT at 3:45 pm (permission forms and Football Manitoba registration MUST be completed in order to participate)
Thursday September 1st Exhibition Game @ JT vs Sisler 6:00 pm (permission forms and Football Manitoba registration Must be completed in order to participate)
