Thursday December 11th

John Taylor’s Winter Concert will be held in Gym AB on Thursday, December 11 at 7PM. The concert will feature all of our choir and band students, and artworks by our own JT Visual Arts department will be on display as well. This concert is free to attend and all are welcome!

1,793 socks, mittens, hats and scarves are on their way to the city’s underhoused.

Late Start Tuesdays

Please note: Starting Tuesday September 9th 2025, Classes begin at 9:00 am every Tuesday morning to allow for staff collaboration and learning within departments. THERE ARE NO LATE STARTS IN JANUARY OR JUNE.

Early Departure dates generally occur on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month and can be found on the school day calendar.

Little Caesars Pizza

John Taylor Collegiate and the Grad 2026 Committee are organizing a pizza lunch with Little Caesars pizza for students in all grades. All pizzas are mediums (8 slices) and are $12 each. Students can choose between cheese or pepperoni pizza. The pizza will be delivered to the school for students to pick up at noon on Friday, December 19th. Orders must be in by Sunday, December 14th . Students must be present to pick up their pizzas.

Safe Drop off/ Pick Up Zones

Please do not enter the Staff Parking Lot (highlighted in red) from 8:00AM to 9:00AM or 3:00PM to 4:00PM. Stopping in these areas, even for a few seconds, can put our students at risk, as it adds to congestion.
As you will note on the map, Hamilton and Knox are located right near the school & allow for good flow of traffic for student drop-offs.
