St. James-Assiniboia School Division's goal is to maintain class sizes of approximately
20 students in Kindergarten to Grade 3, and
25 students in Grades 4–8.
For each grade level, both regular and blended classes are included in calculating the average. Blended classes are calculated in the average for their lower grade.
Figures below are based on student-to-homeroom-teacher ratios, though personnel such as Educational Assistants and Learning Support Teachers may provide additional classroom supports to students and teachers depending on class size considerations and learning needs.
