The St. James-Assiniboia School Division International Student Program offers international students a Homestay Program that connects students with a local St. James-Assiniboia family. Families are carefully chosen to provide a supportive and caring environment. We match students with suitable homestay families based on students needs and interests, and offer ongoing support to families and students.

Are you a local family interested in welcoming an international student into your home and making a lasting impact on your family and the student? Students from around the world come to SJASD to learn, grow, and experience Canadian culture. Hosting creates unforgettable memories, fosters cross-cultural connections, and builds lifelong friendships for both students and families. Participating families receive a generous monthly stipend.
