St. James-Assiniboia School Division is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, a safe, cosmopolitan, friendly city in the centre of North America. We have four high schools with international students from more than 15 countries. Our schools offer a wide range of academic courses and special interest classes such as technology and media, performing arts, aviation, business, and sports, as well as many extracurricular activities. Our program plans many cultural activities for our international students every month, including hockey, football, and baseball games, museums, opera, ice skating, ballet, and restaurant visits. We place our students in caring, local families who enjoy opening their home and inviting students to be a part of their family. We get to know our students well, and offer a great experience studying in Canada. Graduates of our Division are well prepared for the most stringent academic demands of Canadian, U.S. and international universities.
