Employees are expected to treat every other employee, student and visitor in a respectful manner such that their behavior would set an example of appropriate conduct for students.
As disrespectful behavior towards others is contrary to the values and objectives of the Division, we have an expectation that members of the public will also demonstrate respect in their dealings with staff.
Harassment, bullying or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.
In order to create a positive environment for our students and each other, we ask members of the public to stay calm, use respectful language, listen carefully and find common ground. Concurrently, we ask our staff to do the same.
