​​​​​​The St. James-Assiniboia School Division technology infrastructure is supported by a fibre optic network connecting all schools to the Division Board Office. The fibre optic network is buried underground in much the same way as services provided by Mantioba Hydro and MTS, for example.

When performing construction that involves any drilling or excavation in the vicinity of the School Division's fibre network, contractors and homeowners are required to request that a locate for the network be marked out before digging.
