​Attend Navigating Red Flags: Online Safety for Youth. Free, in-person sessions geared to parents/guardians (1330 to 15:30 hrs), students in Grades 5 and 6, (1730 to 1900 hrs) and students from Grades 7 to 12 (1930 to 2100 hrs). Sessions take place on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Building 90, 680 Wihuri Rd. Learn how online predators, scams, and manipulation tactics target youth and discover practical strategies to stay safe online. Featuring Valerie Caldwell. Free pizza for kids, coffee/snacks for parents. All sessions brought to participants by The Helping Professionals Committee. 17 Wing Base Kids Camps/Activities and General Recreational Programming, Open to Public
The Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) offers a variety of affordable β€‹β€‹or free programming to the general public through their off-base recreational facility located at 680 Whytewold Road. Personnel Support Programs (PSP) include: spring break camps, summer camps and hosted birthday parties for kids; fitness classes and drop-in recreational sport activities for older kids and adults; a gym and squash courts; and more.
