Get Rolling in the Annual SJASD 'Wheel' Challenge

May 30, 2025

WheelChallenge_2025_Instagram-01.pngThe event takes place from May 20 to June 10, 2025, and encourages children and youth to get active and have fun by cycling, roller-skating, rollerblading, scootering, skateboarding, using a wheelchair, or using any other form of wheels to get around.

Contestants obtain and complete a bingo card with different challenges and then submit it for a chance to win a $500 shopping spree from local retailer White Pine Bicycle Co.

The event started in 2021 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and is still going strong, with hundreds of students participating each year.

Only one student will win a prize, but the real prize is wellness and getting active.

The official draw will take place after June 10.

Good luck to all participants!
