Lakewood School celebrated its first Treaty Day on June 19 with a fantastic day of outdoor learning. The students travelled through seven different stations to deepen their understanding and appreciation of Indigenous culture and history. A combination of drumming, singing, rock painting, learning about medicines, storytelling and games made for a memorable first Treaty Day at Lakewood!
