As the number of COVID-19 cases increases in Winnipeg, the Chief Provincial Public Health Officer announced that the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region would move to the Orange/Restricted level under the Province's Pandemic Response System effective Monday, September 28, 2020. 

School Divisions have been advised that the health orders under this new level are being applied in a focused manner and do not currently change any of the school's measures. 

Schools remain in the Yellow (Caution) level and continue to remain open for students on Monday, September 28. The St. James-Assiniboia School Division will continue to operate with the diligent policies and protocols already in place.
