Due to a significant increase in patient visits to the HSC Winnipeg Children's Hospital Emergency Department, Medical Director Dr. Karen Gripp is encouraging parents and caregivers to review helpful information on care options as well as symptoms to watch out for when caring for a sick child.
Not all respiratory symptoms require a visit to the Emergency Department. Depending on your child's symptoms, you may be able to provide care at home, or be seen by your doctor or a walk-in clinic or urgent care centre.
