February 11 to 17, 2024 marks Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week.
As we round out the week, SJASD would like to recognize the contributions that educators, administrative and education assistants, educational clinicians and associates, nurses, bus drivers, custodians and all other school support staff make to students and school communities.
Many schools throughout the Division celebrate Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week through small acts of appreciation.
This week, staff at Hedges Middle School are being treated daily to goodies ranging from cozy socks to tasty cinnamon buns and salty popcorn bags. On Friday staff will enjoy a pizza lunch.
Over at Brooklands School, staff are enjoying celebratory posters and treats. Every staff member has also received a small thank you package including a notebook, pencil and bookmark with an inspirational message.
Some schools celebrate their staff at other times of the year. Linwood School will officially recognize their staff in mid-March with goodies and a lunch provided by parents.
Thanks to our staff for all that they do to support teaching and learning in SJASD. Your efforts large and small do not go unnoticed.
