On October 28, 2024, parents and caregivers are invited to attend a free Dyslexia Awareness Evening at Jameswood Alternative School.
The Divisional event features Keynote speaker Tianna Voort, a Community Outreach Coordinator with Dyslexia Canada.
Attendees will learn more about dyslexia, how to get a child diagnosed, how to obtain support, and dyslexia superpowers. Learning booths will be hosted by parents, psychologists, reading clinicians, teachers, tutors, and those with adaptive technology expertise.
