The SJASD Board of Trustees earmarked funding in March to add one Assistant Superintendent position to the Division's Senior Administration Team, restoring the number Assistant Superintendent positions to two.

The Division is pleased to announce that Jaime Siska was appointed to the position of Assistant Superintendent of Educational Planning and Policy at a Special Board Meeting on April 22, 2025.

Assistant Superintendent Jaime Siska will commence her new position and join the Senior Administration Team on August 1, 2025.

“Ms. Siska possesses the skills and attributes necessary to excel in this role and contribute significantly to our Senior Administration Team, and to the Division," says Board Chair Holly Hunter.

Ms. Siska brings with her almost 15 years of experience in educational leadership, having served as Principal and Vice Principal in diverse school environments. During her career in education, she has successfully led policy development and implementation, instructional supervision, and data-driven decision-making to support student achievement and school-wide improvement in Manitoba schools. 

SJASD looks forward to enriching the school community with another leadership team member to support the priorities outlined in the Division's Strategic Plan.
