A total of 18 students represented SJASD at the Red River Heritage Fair on May 3 at the University of Winnipeg. Students from the following schools took part in the 15th annual event: Assiniboine, Bannatyne, Crestview, Linwood, Sansome and Strathmillan.
Throughout the day, students engaged in a number of history-themed workshops, enjoyed a scavenger hunt and defended their projects in front of at least two judges. All students received a participation medal and the following students were recognized at the Awards ceremony:
